Pietà, quietly.

Quiet harbour town, fifteen minutes' walk to Valletta.

QuietResidentialWalk to Valletta

Pietà sits on the inner harbour, just outside Valletta. Working waterfront, residential streets, no nightlife — and that is its appeal. You walk into the capital in fifteen minutes, you take the ferry from neighbouring Sliema in twelve.

Our Pietà Penthouse is the only stay we have here. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private terrace with Valletta views. It's the right pick for a slower trip — visit the capital daily, come back to quiet evenings.

What to do
  • Marsamxett harbour walk

Forty minutes around the inner harbour. Best at sunset.

  • Manoel Theatre, Valletta

300-year-old theatre, walking distance over the bridge.

  • Floriana Granaries

Open square just before Valletta walls. Big, calm, quiet.

  • Hastings Garden

On Valletta's bastions. The view across to Pietà is the postcard.

  • Saturday market in Valletta

    Fish, produce, conversation. Mornings only.

Where to eat
  • Café Society

    Small, family-run, Mediterranean menu.

  • Cuba

In Floriana, ten minutes' walk. Pizza, wine, garden seating.

  • Caffe Cordina

Valletta's grand café — coffee, cake, marble counters.

  • Crianza

Pietà wine bar, low-key, good cheese.
